Trippii works because every profile represents a real person with real travel plans. Authenticity isn't optional — it's the whole product.
✓ Do
- Use your real name and recent, recognizable photos of yourself
- Complete ID verification — it takes 30 seconds
- List trips you actually plan to take
- Represent your interests and travel style honestly
✗ Don't
- Use photos of other people, celebrities, or AI-generated faces
- Claim trips or destinations you're not planning
- Impersonate another person or brand
- Create multiple accounts
02Be respectful.
Travelers come from everywhere, with every background. Respect is the baseline — not a bonus.
- No harassment. No repeated unwanted contact, slurs, or targeted insults — on the app or in person.
- No hate speech. Content attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality gets an immediate ban.
- No unsolicited sexual content. Trippii is a travel community, not a dating app. If someone says no — or doesn't reply — move on.
- Respect "no". Plans change. People change their minds. That's always okay.
Hate speech, threats of violence, and non-consensual intimate imagery result in a permanent ban on first offense — no warnings, no appeals for repeat categories.
03Be safe.
Meeting people from the internet means trusting your gut. We give you the tools — you use them.
- Meet for the first time in public places
- Tell a friend your plans — or use Trippii Trusted Contact to auto-share
- Video-verify before you book shared accommodation
- Never send money to someone you haven't met
- If something feels off, it is. Leave, then report.
04Keep conversations on-platform.
We protect you when you're on Trippii — we can't protect you on other apps. Moving off-platform too quickly is one of the biggest red flags for scams.
- Don't rush to move to WhatsApp/Telegram/Instagram
- Never share your phone number, address, or ID before meeting
- Report anyone pressuring you to move the conversation
- We'll never ask for your password or payment details
05Zero tolerance.
These get you banned immediately, permanently, and reported to authorities when required by law:
- Soliciting or offering sex for money
- Anything involving minors — in content, conversation, or intent
- Credible threats of violence
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn")
- Drug trafficking or weapons sales
- Human trafficking or exploitation of any kind
- Scams, phishing, and financial fraud
- Ban evasion (creating a new account after being banned)
06How we enforce.
Every report is reviewed by a human — typically within 4 hours. We use a three-strike system for minor violations and immediate action for serious ones.
7-day timeout
Account paused. We explain what went wrong. Education, not punishment.
30-day limit
No new matches, read-only chats. Time to reflect on the guidelines.
Permanent
Account closed. ID blocklisted. No new accounts from the same person.
07Appeals.
If you think we got it wrong, tell us. Every appeal is reviewed by a different moderator within 48 hours. We publish aggregate appeal outcomes in our quarterly transparency report.
